Great Advice From The World’s #1 Copywriter
The best copywriter in the world is an ongoing debate…
However the person that I believe is #1 is someone you would never think of…
This particular person probably doesn’t even know they are the best…or even a copywriter.
It’s not one of the greats like David Ogilvy, John Carlton, Gene Schwartz, or Claude Hopkins.
It’s not even the current industry leaders like Stefan Georgi, Dan Ferrari, Ian Stanley, Justin Goff, Ben Settle, or whoever else you deem to be a current industry leader….
This person I’m about to share has brand offers anywhere from $500,000-$1,000,000 for a single social media post.
Just think about that for a second…
$1,000,000 for a single post…for a few sentences of copy to mention the brand and product they are selling.
Name any copywriter who can do that…
There isn’t….
And recently this individual responded to a question that broke the internet when she was asked to give advice to women in business…
Her response…
“Get your f*cking ass up and work…”
Yes… I’m talking about Kim Kardashian.

Her response has casted a ton of negative feedback to what she said…
Things like:
She came from a privileged family…
A s*x tape is what made her famous…
She had everything handed to her…
Regardless of what you think of Kim K…I think most are taking what she said the wrong way…
And the reason I say this is because of comments similar to the one below…

When I see things like this…I think of a story Warren Buffett once shared about his closest friend from Columbia University Business School.
Warren Buffet’s friend was brilliant, hardworking, and had great ethics and character…
And once they both graduated…they were in a similar spot.
But the outcome of their lives were drastically different based on one single decision…
His buddy went to work for the steel industry…worked really hard…and earned a solid living.
Warren started his first private partnership…which eventually became Berkshire Hathaway.
And in response to these two different outcomes…Warren said this.
It’s not as important how hard you row…but what boat you are in.
This is what I believe Kim Kardashian meant…
If you aspire to do something great with your life…then “get your f*cking ass up” and get to work to be on the right boat.
So the question I have for you today is simple…
Are you on the right boat?
